Even as a child, I used to sneak through the lush, flowering May meadows and gather buttercups, daisies, kidney vetch and other pretty flowers to make a little Mother’s Day bouquet. I’d add a picture I’d drawn myself, and there you had it – the perfect Mother’s Day present.
These days, I no longer roam through (tick-infested) meadows, so the annual question arises: ‘What shall I give the best mum in the world?’. In this Mother’s Day gift guide, I’d like to offer a bit more clarity to anyone who’s undecided in the vast jungle of gift ideas: from timeless classics and last-minute Mother’s Day gifts to more unusual options.
