Summer activities

As soon as the last snow has melted, we're back on our bikes and hiking boots. Numerous hiking and cycling trails lead through valley and mountain along unique panoramic views, past rustic alpine huts and lush meadows. Sometimes the long summer days seem never-ending, until the last rays of sun finally disappear behind the peaks for the night.

Swimming in the natural lake

You can take a dip in the cool water at many natural swimming lakes, which boast excellent water quality. In addition to the 10,000 m² bathing lake in Inzell, the Tüttensee and Waginger See lakes are also recommended.

Winter activities

When Mother Hulda has been busy, nature is transformed into a true winter paradise. White mountain peaks, glistening mountain lakes and snow-covered slopes entice die-hard snow fans outside, even in icy temperatures. This is the special magic of winter and a unique opportunity for skiing, tobogganing, snowshoeing and much more ...

As a rule, the ski lifts open between December and March - assuming good snow conditions. The best way to find up-to-date information about lift and piste openings is to visit the websites of the respective lift operators.

However, winter also offers plenty of indoor alternatives, e.g. if the magic of snow is a little slow in coming or the weather is simply too unstable.

Snowshoeing

A winter hike through the snow-covered forest? Better with snowshoes! With the right equipment, you can explore the snow paradise far away from the hiking trails. True to the motto: "The journey is the reward!"
Skilanglauf an der Winklmoosalm

Cross-country skiing

Depending on the snow conditions, trails of varying difficulty and length open in and around Inzell. In total, around 80 kilometres of varied cross-country trails can be covered.

However, it is all too often difficult to say goodbye to the impressive places quickly, so our tip: don't take on too much for one day!

Tips for families

Finding the right holiday adventure for the whole family can sometimes be a real challenge. In the Inzell holiday region, however, you are sure to find the right holiday activity for young and old. Inzell itself is home to a number of playgrounds that provide short-term fun for the little ones. Numerous adventure stations such as the Soccer Park or educational trails through the countryside, on the other hand, will appeal to middle-aged children.

Meanwhile, the whole family gets their money's worth at the Inzell water park.
