Bavarian cuisine - What makes them so special.

Good food is known to keep body and soul together. Nowhere is this wisdom more true than in Bavaria, because our down-to-earth, hearty cuisine invites you to enjoy an uncomplicated, cosy get-together. Our hearty, rustic Bavarian specialities prove that good food doesn't have to be complicated. You will also recognise this from the typical Bavarian inn atmosphere , in which no ski-ski in the world would find its place.

Typical Bavarian specialities:

  • Liver dumpling soup
  • Crispy pork knuckle with Bavarian cabbage
  • Roast pork with bread or potato dumplings
  • Leberkäse
  • Bavarian veal sausage with sweet mustard and pretzels
  • Hearty snacks with radish, Obazda, lard and much more
  • Fresh apple strudel with vanilla sauce
  • And, and, and ...

Almost every region in Bavaria has its own traditions, which are also reflected in its cuisine. The "perfect roast pork recipe" will therefore probably never exist, because let's be honest ... it always tasted best at Grandma's anyway, didn't it?
